About us

We’re a proudly Kiwi-owned manufacturing company, committed to delivering top-quality vibratory equipment throughout New Zealand and Australia.

In 2024, we took a big step forward by acquiring the RR Fisher fabrication and vibration engineering division. This allowed us to continue RR Fisher’s vibratory engineering legacy, which has shaped the industry for around 65 years.

At the end of 2025, we expanded again with the purchase of Drake Design, bringing two trusted Kiwi manufacturing brands together under one roof. Drake Design has long been recognised for its expertise in the design and manufacture of capping machinery and now forms an important part of the Align Steel family. Their machines are known for being robust, simple to operate, easy to maintain, and capable of handling a wide range of products. We also continue to provide specialised project support, including line layout design, machine modifications, and other tailored solutions.

Together, these expansions strengthen our ability to deliver reliable, well-engineered equipment and support to customers across a wide range of industries, while staying true to our roots as a New Zealand-owned manufacturer.

Meet David Chisnall

At the heart of Align Steel is David Chisnall, owner and director, who brings over four decades of experience in manufacturing, sales, and design of vibratory equipment.

Having spent 42 years with RR Fisher & Co Ltd, along with some of the talented design and manufacturing team from RR Fisher, we’ve combined our expertise to offer superior electromagnetic and electromechanical vibratory feeding systems.

Our mission is simple: to share our wealth of knowledge and create a high-quality range of standard and custom-made vibration equipment. We’re passionate about what we do, and we are here to help. â€‹
